Brightpearl by Sage is an SaaS for fast-growing ecommerce retailers. In very simple terms, it’s a retail operating system which allows a business to scale by keeping track of all operations in one place.
I was brought in during a period of high growth for Brightpearl; firstly to de-mystify the dense terminology of the system and its many intuitive features, then to create engaging web copy + content that would appeal to their target market: namely, the real people of all backgrounds that run successful retail businesses from the ground up.

I wrote a whole lot for Brightpearl (landing pages, PR releases, Thought Leadership articles, the list goes on), but Customer Stories were my shtick.
I mined and conducted hour-long interviews with retailers that had seen big success with Brightpearl - including Piglet in Bed, Wexel Art, Coes, Bells of Steel and more.
From each interview I identified the key hooks and shaped a strong, immersive narrative - that Brightpearl has huge potential for business when combined with ambition, and a problem-solving, entrepreneurial spirit.

Brightpearl’s Customer Stories hub received a much needed journalistic touch. What were once reports of features, data and outcomes became more inspiring case studies; tales of how real people had used the tech to their advantage in the face of intense challenges. These were instantly more shareable and persuasive to prospective clients.
